Telephonic Case Management
Future Care's Telephonic Case Management (TCM) Program is an early intervention cost containment initiative to coordinate high quality care. For Maritime Clients this program is a short term, early intervention program that is most effectively used immediately following an injury. TCM professionals are highly effective in evaluating the severity of the injury, negotiating medical costs and identifying opportunities for early return to work. Future Care has nurse case managers located near every port throughout the United States that are familiar with the Maritime Industry.
Future Care enhances the Telephonic Case Management process by providing:
- Four-point contact (employer, employee, physician, and claim representative)
- Individualized follow-up for the life of the claim, from injury/illness to return to work
- Objective, professional assessment of potentially conflicting reports from all parties involved in a claim
- Full-service and professional support from Future Care's panel of nurse case managers and on-call professionals
- Availability of on-site seminars with a member of Future Care's Physician Advisory Board, staff and/or panel of physicians
